Cut to length
Below is an overview for cutting to length for internship supervisors.
Guideline for cutting the mannequin to the right length for wrapping techniques:
- Sections 4, 5, 8 and 9: 15 cm length
- Sections 6 and 7: 10 cm length
- Sections 1, 2 and 3: 10 cm length
So, equal layers on top and decreasing layers on the sides and back.
Hair Type & Maximum Processing Temperature (°C) with External Heat Source such as a Straightener:
- Synthetic: 80°C
- Brittle: 160°C
- Thin: 175°C
- Normal: 200°C
- Thick: 230°C
